Serving the Community

As followers of Jesus' teachings, we have an obligation to strive to serve communities beyond the limts of our parish. We are fully aware of our responsibility as Americans to give back to the American society (See "Serving the Public"). We also recognize our obligations to our Diocese (Northeast American Diocese) and our mother Church, the Malankara (Indian) Orthodox Syrian Church. Then, of course, we cannot forget that we are also an integral part of the Indian-American community here. While our time and resources are limited, we attempt to address such obligations, "not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially".
